There are several ways ho to create a static List (click here to see some basic information about Lists and Segments).

Creating new List without uploading new subscribers

You can create new List without uploading any subscriber. To do this, just go to the Lists & segments section in the menu bar.

You are redirected to the List management page. To create new List just click on New list button (1). You can search and filter the Lists as well (2). To edit name and hierarchy click on the three dots next to particular List (3).

You can switch to Segments in the upper bar (4). 

After clicking on New list button fill in the name of the new List and choose where in the List hierarchy it will be saved.

Save your new list and you will be redirected to the List management page where you will see the new List.

The new list is empty and you should assign some users to it. Find out how to add your current subscribers to a List.

Creating new List when adding new subscriber

You can create a List when you are adding a new subscriber one by one. In the New contact window just click on New list.

In the pop-up window fill in the name of the new List and choose where in the List hierarchy it will be saved.

If you want to add new subscriber into an existing List, just find the List in the drop-down menu at the top of the New contact form and tick it. This way you can add new subscriber in multiple Lists.

Save your new list and finish adding the new user.

Creating new List when importing multiple subscribers

You can create new List when importing multiple subscribers as well.

Option to add all imported subscribers in a List is present at the top of the Central panel in the Contact import page. You can choose from existing Lists in the drop-down menu or create new List by clicking on New list button.

In the pop-up window fill in the name of the new List and choose where in the List hierarchy it will be saved.

Save your new list and finish the import process.
